About The Wine
The 2016 Oro is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. Inky black in colour, it displays aromas of entrancing elixir and has consistent rich, polished flavours with every sip. Savoury and succulent, with blackberry, cassis, lavender, roses and exotic spices caressed the nose and satiated the palate. Upon opening, give this beauty a bit of aeration and enjoy it now and for years to come.
Enjoy by itself or perhaps a savoury lamb and potato stew or a rack of lamb, Gnocchi with vegetables and gorgonzola cheese provides another flavourful accompaniment as do red and yellow peppers stuffed with orzo, parmesan cheese, and herbs.
