About The Wine
The Camissa is an aromatic blend of 52% Cabernet Franc and 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, matured for 18 months in second-and-third-fill French oak barriques. The two varieties bring their own personalities to the blend, with the Cabernet Franc showing elegance and freshness, while the Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure, tannin and ageing potential. There is fresh red pepper and spice on the nose, with a hint of dark chocolate. The mouth-feel is clean and elegant with poised freshness, balance and concentration. Fine, rounded tannins are evident in the finish, allowing this wine to be enjoyed in its youth or aged for several years from vintage.
