About the Wine
Viognier is not a classic grape variety for dessert wines, but the Noble Late Harvest is unique. The grapes were picked at the point of drying out to maximise concentration and flavour. The wine was barrel-fermented-and matured in three second-fill French Oak barriques for a total of 28 months. The resulting wine has spicy flavours reminiscent of apricot, almonds and toast. The zippy acidity prevents the wine from being cloyingly sweet and is wonderful when served with just about any dessert or cheese.
